Pamela J. Remieres-Morin joined Maine Community College System (MCCS) in 2019 as Chief Financial Officer. Her current position is responsible for ensuring the stewardship and safeguarding of the System’s assets and resources through a system of financial controls that ensure complete and accurate financial reporting to the Board of Trustees, college presidents, system managers, and legislative leaders. Prior to assuming the position at MCCS, Remieres-Morin was Dean of Finance and General Service at Central Maine Community College (CMCC), a college within the MCCS, a position she held since 2009.
In January 2000 she was named Business Manager for WCSH-TV, Gannett’s NBC affiliate in Portland, Maine. The two Maine NBC affiliates went through a unification of financial and other common systems. These changes brought reorganization of the business offices of both stations and Remieres-Morin was named Business Manager of WCSH 6 and WLBZ 2 in the spring of 2001.
Prior to joining the stations, she had been the Chief Financial Officer at the Maine State Chamber of Commerce, served as Finance Director for the Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments and Accounting Supervisor for Maine Technical College System (now the Maine Community College System).
Pam is a graduate of Thomas College in Waterville, Maine where she obtained her master’s in business administration. She is an active peer evaluator for New England Commission of Higher Education. Previously Pam served as a Board of Director for United Way of Androscoggin Valley, and was a member of the Maine Family Federal Credit Union Board of Directors, serving as Treasurer.
Pam lives in Lewiston, Maine with her husband Michael.
